Elam Construction, Inc. has been awarded a CDOT contract to improve US Highway 50. The focus of the improvements will be to widen approximately 7 1/2 miles of Highway 50 from Kannah Creek to the Delta County/Mesa County line.

"We can’t wait to get started on the Highway 50 job,"said Harold Elam, President of Elam Construction. "Highway 50 is very important to the Western Slope, and we are pleased that CDOT has continued to move the project forward."
